A Part of Everybody

The life of Community Church of Hendersonville is lived out through the involvement and service of our members in our many areas of ministries.

The Board of Ministry Directors are charged with building teams from members of the church
who are involved and actively serving in our ministries. Below is information about each of our ministry areas where you can learn more about being "a part of everybody"
at Community Church.

Adult Education - Some will be Leaders - to teach others of the ways to lead, to enable the church Body to learn His will and to enable our families to uplift their families and communities.

Celebrate Recovery - A healing and recovery ministry for anyone struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  Anyone struggling with addictive, compulsive, or dysfunctional behaviors can find peace, joy, and a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ – our Higher Power.

Children's Education - To train up our children in the way in which they should go, so that when they are older they will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6). To accomplish this we provide opportunities for influence and giving the gifts of acceptance through vacation bible school, summer camp, children choir, and dramatic and comedic plays.

Community Kids Club - A ministry that reaches out to our community by providing excellent Christ-centered child care / day care school services.

Communications/Media - We guide and assist this church family in an effort to consistently and creatively portray our identity in Him with authenticity and enduring quality.

Facilities - We can use our talents and abilities to maintain and improve the facilities that our Lord has provided to our church body and our community.

Fellowship - Nurturing meaningful relationships and promoting greater involvement with each other by coming together at social events and gatherings.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Ministry - A group with a desire to help members of our Body with the hardships and trials of life.  The acronym stands for (F)amily, (R)enewal, (I)llnesses, (E)lderly, (N)ew, (D)eath/Grieving, and (S)pecial requests. This group works actively with the other areas of involvement of our church.

Greeting/Ushers - A Welcome program that greets visitors and members, communicates information, provides guidance to seats and classes, accommodates comforts and follows up with every person who visits this Body.

Home Groups - Find a mini-church within our church -- a unified and concerted set of small groups in which all can share, interact, study and pray.

Local and World Missions - To convey the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ to others, wherever they might be. For those with that desire, we prepare and educate how to notice and use those opportunities as they arise.

Men's Ministry - Equip the men of this Body as leaders, and as servants, of their families and of the body of Christ.

New Member Involvement - Our current members want to help our new members find their place in our Body.  We will assist in finding your gifts and guide you in finding areas of involvement.

Outreach/Benevolence Group - We have a heart's desire to serve, to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the members of our Body and the community, so that we can exemplify God's love for others.

Recreation & Fitness - To provide sports activities and promote physical fitness while behaving in a way pleasing to our Lord.

Women's Ministry - A ministry in which mature women teach, support and encourage every woman of this Body, so that they can be the salt and light of their homes, workplace and community, through acceptance and sharing.

Worshiping Arts - Opportunities to glorify God, celebrate what He has done for us, edify one another, and minister to the church body and our community.

Youth Ministry - Equipping the youth of this Body to know His will, to grow in relationship with Him and the Body of Christ, and to be an instrument of radical change in the youth culture of Hendersonville. A place of acceptance. Come join us where you are.
